I'm not sure that's helpful for the OP. It's made to a low price point and the one I handled was about par for the course in that price range. Given their great warranty, and if that is what fits your budget, I'd say you could buy it knowing that Vortex will take care of problems should you have them and the scope isn't a bad deal.

I'd save and spend a little more to go up the product line some, but I'm a glass snob!

#1 the adjustable objective deal on the front literally fell apart in my hands.
#2 it would not hold poi
So I sent it back. Yes sir just like magic I was sent another scope and guess what?
Scope number 2 did the same Damn thing.
I sent that scope back as well and told them to keep it!
Vortex sent me a full refund including tax.
You can spend your time shipping or shooting.

I spent my money on a SWFA fixed 10x problem solved permanently.

Dang spj thats rough... I put one on a scout rifle awhile back and own two other crossfire 2 scopes and never had a problem... I will keep an eye on the scout rifle scope if it messes up I will just ask for a refund and go another route...

Nope, your experience is great and this follow up post was great. I thought calling it a POS with no info wasn't helping the OP with a decision. I figured that we probably agreed with each other on this scope's shortcomings, but I also suspect that the OP isn't looking to spend much.

Well I ordered the cross fire 2 Scout Scope. I read some good reviews on this particular scope so we’l See.

Thought the "Cross Fire" line was for air-guns and rimfires (basically anything without recoil).
I know the name (Crossfire) fits that description well.... lol
