I'm only on the 2nd firing but the case to case consistency uniformity, and case wall concentricity are outstanding.
THEY ARE made in USA.

I'm all about Made in the USA for sure. Its difficult to get past the lapua thing, but USA brass is getting there. Peterson and a few others are pretty good. Haven't seen the Alpha brass yet but I hear that it's pretty good. Starline wasn't bad either. I was expecting it to be worse that it is for sure.

That's best practice groups. I can't do it Consistently even with the same load same day. An average group is more like 4.5 plus inches.

So, that is 1/4 MOA at 1000 yds and sometimes better. If you can keep that going, your doing very well. A 1 MPH wind gust can move high BC bullets 4-5 inches at 1000 and I doubt any of us could read the wind to that degree. Great work!!

Wind is always everyone's Achilles heel. Mirage can be an issue too.

But seriously, the groups you are getting at 1000 are pretty impressive and the point is that changing loads to improve on 1/4 minute groups may be just an effort in frustration. 1/4 min accuracy at 400 yards is a great thing on a calm day but to achieve it at 1000?
My opinion is work more on reading the conditions and keep the load where you already have it.
We all have to be a little OCD to shoot this game, but your excellent work on loads may be a case of diminishing returns.
Just my thoughts.

This group of shooters out here at Hawks Ridge gun club are tough. In light someone in the group will hit 3" or less on any given day. It's a pain but when you are shooting with excellence it teaches you to be better. The current record is 1.06" and he is the IBS champion for several years. He and others like him considered Hawk Ridge their home. Last year was my first year to shoot in a long time. I haven't been able to make a single match so far this year ( extremely busy at work) but I've done a crap load of testing and modifying. At the end of the month We are hosting the IBS nationals here and I'm getting prepared for it. My guess is a sub 3" agg for the event will win it.

I truly think that for 1" groups to even be available or achievable, I need to focus more on positive compensation. Alex Wheeler turned me on to that and I believe it to be real and a direction to focus on for what I'm doing. Alex doesn't know it yet but he's going to be getting some business from me very soon.

Granted, the artical is about rim fire, but it and some other articals that I've read and done testing on has applied.

Can you do RL23? And H4331sc ? Looking for speed at around 3100 plus a bit. I seem to have a node around that number. Rl26 I can't get any . RL23 is looking promising just from looking at max load.
I have a 28" 7.5T 6mm Creedmoor Krieger. Lupua brass, small primer cci 450 or br4 . Running with a 110Atip or 108 Berger. How do you like that program? Is it worth it?

Reloader 16. Enough said. You want a slower powder try Reloader 23. Both as good or better than H4350 and H4831SC.

Tried RL16, not bad. Not as good on extreme spread or SD. But good powder. I bought some 23 to try. Looks good for what I'm trying to accomplish. If 26 was available, I would have that

R26 is better for the 243 IMO. I got better SD with R-16 over H4350. Better temp insensitive too.

What Barrel and load data do you have. RL 16 either shot well low at 2940 fps 39.6 grns or up high 4.17 grns with a 105 in the practice barrel. 26" 8T. I'm switching to the 28" 7.5t now

Can't help you with the 105's. I shoot 95 grain Sierra Tipped Matchkings out of my 6mm. I got a Brux 1:8 twist. Loads 42 grains of R-16. If you're using the small primer pocket, I would advise to stay away from the slower burning powders. The ignition will be inconsistent.

Can't help you with the 105's. I shoot 95 grain Sierra Tipped Matchkings out of my 6mm. I got a Brux 1:8 twist. Loads 42 grains of R-16. If you're using the small primer pocket, I would advise to stay away from the slower burning powders. The ignition will be inconsistent.

Rl16 with cci 450 was very inconsistent until it started getting the case fuller. That seems to be a trend with the small primer. That's why I'm using the magnum primer.

Case in point this very post looking for a powder that I can run close to 100% case capacity without over pressure.

I love the program, and when used properly, can attain astounding accuracy in velocity prediction. Well worth the money. What length barrel do you have? What brand brass (or H2O capacity)are you using? I will run your powders later today. after work.
