From all the stuff i heard the primer pockets get loose quickly and you can't get the same speeds out of them compared to lapua brass
the old brass was to thick in base so didn't fit shell holders but they fixed the base now

It’s good brass you just need to use a little lighter load for the for a couple firings until the head hardens up. I torture tested one. Took it up until it had an ejector mark, backed it down a half grain and loaded it a total of 9 times before I had to stop because of rain. The primer pocket was still good.

As far as capacity it holds slightly less but still gets up in the 3000fps nodes.

Like SWD said, the primer pockets will be fine if you don't hit the hard on the first few firings. I recently did a load work up for a Dasher using both Lapua and Norma brass and both brands has multiple firings on them. With all components and seating depth the same the Norma brass averaged 15 FPS faster than the Lapua. Velocity on the Norma brass went up to 3030 FPS with no pressure signs. Varget, 105 Hybrids and 450 primers were used.

This chamber is a .135 FB Lapua and the Norma brass OAL had been trimmed down so it would fit the chamber.

I test and am shooting Norma Dasher brass it shoots great. And it’s no fire forming....

I Tested Lapua 6BR and it requires work to make it into Dasher. If done correctly it’s great stuff.

So now that I have aged a bit I like simple (kiss principal) less work the better !

I don’t listen to I heard comments - test everything

I'm using Norma brass now in my BR, price was way better than Lapua so I bought 300 pieces. I did have to back off my loads a little, .3 on the higher end stuff. Cant tell the difference shooting it but the money I saved buys bullets to keep me shooting....
