Good shooting with you Steve, enjoyed it! Thanks for posting the link. Yes, this range can be very tricky. Saturday was actually "easier" than most times I've shot there. When the wind blows there it can be brutal. Look forward to shooting with you again.

This is the toughest range I have ever shot at! However, that won't stop me from being there this weekend! Great match and it WILL test your wind reading ability (or lack thereof) to the max!

I heard that there’s a group coming from Texas to join in on the fun.
I believe there is going to be either 5 or 7 from Texas and 5 from Arizona.
5 from Bayou Rifles will be there. We gotta get out of this heat !

Never been to Capitan, looking forward to it! Since TR shooters appear to be an extinct species out there, will be shooting F-O. See ya there.
Yes it is a dry heat! I had a pretty good tan last year and I still burned! If memory serves me correctly, and it usually does, Saturday last year was 97 degrees and BRIGHT sunshine! Heat waves were as bad as it gets! Couple the heat waves with 30+m.p.h. wind and the conditions were very tough!
Wonderful news about the wind, thanks Ben. I won't have to worry about mirage then. We will see you Saturday..
