California gun laws and Accurate Shooting

In California, either go thru the process to buy loaded factory ammo, background check, paperwork, etc. OR roll your own. Just as easy as that.
You could also do a road trip to another state, buy ammo, PAY CASH and be on your way? Not too many other choices is there?

Serious question, why does it have to be cash to buy out of state?

Thats ridiculous. You cant purchase something that is legal to own.
Thier law is written so that a California resident must purchase thier ammo through an FFL in thier state. I believe I read it is against the law to bring ammo in from out of state.

I know. I’m just complaining again. That’s what I do. Lol

I solved the problem, completely flood the state with shooting equipment and ammo. Show the california leadership their silly laws can’t stop 2A, capitalism, and good people.

Remember when you couldn't get Coors east of the Mississippi?
Didn't stop people from drinking it east of the Mississippi.

There's no reason to pay cash to keep in untraceable. California residents can buy all the ammo they want out of state it and use it out of state. It would be the state's burden to prove anything you have you didn't previously own.

"precision" rifles are next on the list. Nobody needs one of those 1000 yard "Sniper Rifles".
I went to lunch today, and stopped on my way back home here in Idaho at my local gun shop. I bought two 30 round Mag-Pul magazines for my detachable magazine AR-15; and two 33 round Glock factory magazines for my 17. Paid cash, and walked out the door. I buy Laser-Cast 124gr lead bullets to load for my Glock and AR in 9mm.

Oh yeah, also bought a box of 32 Colt Short RN lead ammunition for my wife's snubby.
Go ahead and gloat. I spend a fair amount of time in Idaho and y'all have a REAL problem with Boise going Purple. There's not enough population in the rest of the state to overcome Boise going liberal. Get ready and hang on - rough roads ahead.

Same issue with Atlanta! :(

There's work going on now to recall our governor.
I cant stand that self serving Bi£€#
Good luck! Hope it pans out, a guy would think at some point middle of the road or moderate democrats will see the path these progressives are trying to take them on. And if someone would delete our POTUS's twitter account, maybe we could just let the Dem party implode, with 24 presidential candidates it has to be close.

This post opened my eyes some to good CA people fighting the struggle they do. I had no idea that there were that many conservatives in the state, all drowned out by the idiocy of 3-4 cities.
In my, or our defense, when every last thing you read or hear coming from CA pisses one off to no end, it was easy to form opinions.

If you buy "out of state" and they ask you where you live, what type if ID do you plan on showing them? California Drivers License??? DUH!!
Pay cash and ease on down the road. No questions asked, ever.;)
I roll my own and have enough stashed to fight a small war so it's not much of an issue till it comes to rim fire. Got a few bricks on hand.:D

And you find a "dogooder" behind the counter that sees a California address and won't sell to you because of that? Plan ahead. And don't tell me there arn't any dogooders out there either.:mad: CASH TALKS!!;) Stop at the closest ATM and load up.:D

In our last California election John Cox our Republican got 38% of the votes. That's almost 7.5 million Republican votes. That's more than the population of 38 of our individual states. Yes, we have a lot of conservatives here!

Boise does not have a significant purple population; aside from Kal emigrants. There are 44 (iirc) counties in Idaho, and not many have a dem presence. They are still an endangered species here.

NorCAlMikie, I will be 70 in September, and in 41 years living in Idaho have yet to be asked for ID buying ammunition here. I guess I look over 21.

We have bumper stickers here that say "Idaho is what America was...": and "Don't Kalifornicate Idaho...".

The only way California can keep the ammo out is if they build a wall!
Wouldn’t that be something?
Yes it would be something if California built a wall, set up manned check points at the border and do random vehicle stops on known firearms owners to search cars for ammunition smuggled in from out of state.
