Rangefinder?

Looking to get a hunting rangefinder and thought I would ask here first. What do you have and do you like it?
I would like to stay under 200. I will be used out of the tree for bow and would carry it as well.
Thanks

Nikon's are pretty impressive for the price. Won't need alot of range for archery gear. Just make sure it has the arc or angle technology. I missed a big buck in Ohio using one without it. It gave actual distance to target on an almost straight down shot in a deep draw from high in a tree on the hillside.

The little Nikon is pretty impressive indeed. I prefer the bino/lrf combo as its more practical to have 1 device to glass and range with...

Rangefinder binos. Spend the money, don't look back.
The only thing I personally don't like in the bino style rangefinder is the size. Not for rifle hunting scenario but bowhunting when you don't want a large optic on a lanyard around your neck or holster. My Nikon is about as big as I need. My Sig Kilo is smaller yet but I only use it for LR hunting. Unless small bino rangefinders are available, I personally prefer a cheaper model mono style RF that only has about a 500 yard max range.

Yep, everything is a compromise. Size, weight, prices range, quality of optics. I am using Leica Geovids. My 7 power is handy for carry , my 15 power is handy for long range, but my 30 year old bulky, heavy, on a monopod is my favorite. Superb optics and rangefinding. We live in a great time for optics.
