NightForce scopes NX8 (2-20x and 4-32x) thought?

Please forgive me if I did not able them exactly correct. I was in an airport and last a magazine or something and I swear it said that NF had these two scopes coming out. I believe they are SFP??? Anyone use one of these? Thank you

Maybe I did not see what I thought I did....? I figured someone would ave seen/heard about those scope. I'm headed to the book store to try and find the article.

They have Ben delineated in the newest edition guns and ammo long range precision magazine. They are 2.5-20X50 and 4-32x50. The 1-8X24 is already out and is ffp so thought is these are FNP also. Murphy for the 2.5-20 is 1950 and the 4-32 is 2150. I see no reason to sell my nxs 8-32 or 12-42. They have better ED glass than the nxs series but at 1000 yards and all of the mirage does it really matter?

For hunting and field shooting applications like PRS the 8-32 and 12-42 scopes aren't a good choice. Too much magnification on the low end. So I think these new NX8 scopes will find a home with a lot of shooters. Its about time NightForce revamped the NXS line. Good on them for going to ED glass as well. It makes a big difference at long range by controlling those small chromatic aberrations that can wreak havoc on an image when looking for fine detail.

4-32x is the ultimate long range hunting magnification in my opinion. Then add in the fact that the scope only weighs 28oz. and I think it will be a big winner. I know I'll be watching reviews very closely when they start popping up.

Just curious about how much elevation adjustment it will have in the 30mm tube with that mag range/level???

Are the reticle’s useable on the lower powers being first focal plane? Also is it just the very center crosshairs that’s illuminated like on the moar-t?

I have loved their design ever since hearing about it last year. I am certain these will be hot for quite some time. Very versatile scope.
