I have an X-ring of the same 'Robertson' style. Also walnut. It is very straight and tracks very well. Beautiful work on the refinish!

Gorgeous clear coat...again...Bc'z. Can you talk a little about the honey comb in the barrel channel? Never seen that in a stock before.

The owner of this stock and the red one said it helps with flex and torque.
Its something that the guy's at xring does to thier stocks. All I can tell you is that they epoxy it in. There is actually honeycomb under the action bedding also.

The curly maple stock has a strip of aluminum bedded in the barrel chanel.
Here's a shot of 2 stocks on deck

The dark brown is getting sanded down and going blue over black, the new stock I'm going to talk with my brother and see what we can come up with that's jaw dropping!

Yeah, if you stare at the one picture long enough, you kind start to see what looks like some kind of a gunstock in the foreground..........
Wait for the next one to get done, you'll be hard pressed to see a stock!
Just gonna tell yall the pics dont do justice to brett’s work. Its actually way better in person
Thanks Dusty.
I try. This stock was a bit of a bear as it had a decent finish to begin with.
The walnut really soaked up the first application of automotive clear.

And, as i suspected all along, he overmarried real bad.
Yes I've been blessed.
I told her the other day God needed a good laugh, that's why he put us together!
I get that alot, people that meet my wife for the 1st time usually say WTF, how did you, what are you doing that I'm not kinda things.
She's a looker for sure.
