I like how they are going to package the bullets sequentially....
Yup 1 & 2 were good,3 sucked, yup 4 was good, 5 not so good....
And how much is this gonna cost the shooter?

That fancy packaging and the rag to wipe our own bullets off with should bump the price up plenty for sure.

Aluminum tip bullets ? What is the big announcement? The old amax bullets had aluminum tips before they went to the plastic tip .Just look up bullet number 28401. looks like Hornady went back to them... Oh Well who knows.... Later

how are aluminium tips going to react with steel targets? pit the target? Potential sparks / fire hazard?

I understand your concerns, with the popularity of PRS and shooting steel type targets. I'm sure they will list / hi-light the necessary applicable warnings, especially in todays law-suit propelled society we live in. - Every bullet has certain intended & targeted disciplines and I'm just guessing here but I'd say this line is not targeted for shooting steel targets but more around shooting paper targets. - Hornady has used an aluminum tip on the 750 gr. 50 cal. A-Max for over a decade and they shoot pretty well overall.- If my memory serves me correctly there is a Warning on the box stating to Not shoot them at steel targets due to some of the probabilities that you mentioned. - I personally would like to try the 30 cal. offerings in a couple large magnum cartridges and see how the perform from an accuracy perspective at long range.

For those that haven't watched the video they offer the following:

6mm - 110gr - G1 .604 - G7 .304
6.5mm - 135gr - G1 .637 - G7 .321
6.5mm - 153gr - G1 .704 - G7 .355
30cal - 230gr - G1 .823 - G7 .414
30cal - 250gr - G1 .878 - G7 .442.

How long till dudes are throating FTR guns for the 250s ;)
Odd choices in my thinking. Why not build ELR bullets for the Cheytacs or the 416 Barrett using the aluminum tip first. Seems like that would give the guys who want choices that are not above $2 per shot.
Just wondering how much of a bump up in price for the A-Tip over ELDM.

Looks cool to me ...much better than anything I have designed lately. Can anybody on here top it with their recent inventions ?

I would say a new design in bullets. How about a aluminum jacket in a neat long range bullet, for the long range guys/gals ?

Yups. I heard its based on 30tc but necked down toooo<oooooo 6.8

That's right folks. The 270winnermore is da bomb

I'm not certain, but I think anything with "Creedmore" in the name is perceived to be a "Hot Seller"! Today is 4/24 & my new bullets or ammo or whatever the hell it is has not arrived!! Since my pants leg feels wet, I'm thinking Hornady must have peed on my leg along with several other folks!! Ya think?
