F Class target question Part Deux

There are two types of country in the world; those that sent men to the Moon and back, and those that use the 5-V target. I vote other countries change to 10-X targets; a lot less disruption.

On the other hand, pair firing is neat but some firing lines make pair shooting a "cozy" proposition.

This is kind of funny. How many countries have sent multi million or should that be billion dollars only to have them blow up and kill everyone on board due to not using metric sizing and or getting two systems confused,

Ok, I’ll stir the pot. Why are we still using iron sight targets. White targets with black rings are easier to see for the shooter and score for the puller.

How much would it cost to change all my reticles to white, if we did that? Doug we only shoot at targets the same color as our reticles, ya know.

Yes, I remember that fiasco. I wonder how many incidents happened to the US military because of this metric nonsense.

The US government is metric while everyone else in the US uses imperial units.

How's this for an F Class Target option?

Had heard of F Class guys complaining that on E Targets if they don't get a fresh face every time or often enough their aiming point gets blown out and makes their hold off's more difficult and their X count suffers.

I set up our E Targets like this with an F center high on a regular 600 yard center as a test in a 3 x 600 league match late last year.
The F Class guys loved it...

I'm a service rifle sling shooter and with my little 34mm 4x scope the F center high in the black was zero distraction for me.
I just put my reticle dot in the standard 600 yard target X Ring and shot my strings as always.

Thoughts ?

George, that may work in club matches, but for anyone who holds off that's a nightmare. I would not want to shoot on that.

The solution for target faces in matches where you get unlimited sighters in the first match and you don't change yard lines is to calibrate the center up where you put that repair center. Then the hole in the target isn't in the center and hold offs work. That or do what we've always done and change faces every so often. Are e-targets really enabling that much lazy behavior? (I already know the answer, the question is rhetorical)
