Now, Now, Now...It IS a Creedmoor, come on !!!400 yard lever guns been around for many decades...
Savage 99 in 308w, 243w, 284w.
6.5 creepmoore is nothing new.
Just out of curiosity... how do the old Browning BLR's compare in the accuracy dept?
View attachment 1100802 Here is mine. It's an 1893 Marlin Deluxe takedown 30WCF {30-30} made in 1905?{estimated based on serial number due to the records being burned up in a fire back then}. I'm not going to say it will "impress" anyone with fantastic groups, but at 400 yards plus or minus a few I have killed deer with it...open sights too!!

I have shot them and they will surprise you. Not all, but most of them if scoped will put 'em right in there. The ones I have played around with shot 1" groups at 100 with a scope. They really are nice rifles and have a short lever throw and very good trigger too.
I rather like my Henry long ranger even if it does shoot man bun 6.5 creedmoor rounds![]()
I have a couple blr's, the old steel frame pre-81's. One in 358 Win shoots amazingly well, I think it is a MOA rifle but have only shot with open sights...it's very consistent.Just out of curiosity... how do the old Browning BLR's compare in the accuracy dept?
I don't have much in terms of grouping as I was sighting in and haven't gotten a chance to shoot much since . I do believe it will do ~moa +- pretty easy based on what I was able to hit at 300 yardsWhat did the Henry 6.5 group like at 100Y?
