Opinions on ATN X-sight II 3-14

I'm looking at the ATN X-sight II 3-14 for a possible candidate for a coyote rifle. Anyone have any experience with them? Pro's vs cons? I don't have thousands in the budget for a true night vision or thermal scope. Is this a good compromise of are there better options? Price point is appealing, but I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for.

I have a couple buddies with the higher power version. It seems to be ok on larger targets like deer and coyote, but it is not high quality video. They tried it on pdogs and it is marginal at best. Very grainy. They also complained about battery life.

I've just started looking at night scopes. ATN seems to be a customer service nightmare. I'd look at the Sightmark Photon or the new Wraith is getting some impressive reviews.

I've heard the same and am also looking at other options. Pulsar has caught my eye.
