Doesn't a Barrel Maker, Gunsmith, Parts manufacturer, Optics Manufacturer etc. Deserve a chance to inspect any suspect part or work performed for flaws or problems before Posters gripe all over the forums about perceived problems? I tell everyone we work for that we are human and make mistakes. Our creed is "If it shoots great tell everyone if it doesn't TELL ME!" Seen too many shooters that were quick to overlook their personal lack of experience and or ability, cuss a rifle that was far superior to their skill set. Usually because the former having been exposed caused them a bad case of red face at the local range. Everyone wants to share their experience with a particular Barrel maker Gunsmith etc. by casting a suspect light on their customer service practices prior to notifying them of the problem actual or not. If there is a problem quietly let the builder know, be polite despite any frustration, and I will betcha you will get prompt attention and a fast solution to your problem. Raising Hell publicly serves neither party well. Not had this problem myself but have seen way too many excellent smiths. barrel makers and optic companies thrown under the bus in recent months as well as today!
