Tight necker 223

Is it necessary to ream out the brass inside dia. To .224" and then turning the neck down to 10 thousand thickness? Or can I skip the reaming? This is used in a Remington 700 40x for F class matches.

I don't understand the reaming part, but you want your necks to fit snug on your turning mandrel. Also, you don't mention the chamber neck or your bullets pressure ring size, so I'd have no idea what I would turn the necks to. Brian.

Thanks, I don't know the ring size. But I will find out.
