Welcome to the Reloading Forum -- Introduce Yourself

Hey Everyone!
New to reloading. I have a Redding T7 turret and all the goodies to go with it.
I shot over 6k rounds out of my 9mms this last year. I have 2 HKs and a CZ. Kinda wanted something to keep me busy during the winter here in Idaho.
Reloading equipment as well as ammo prices are at a 10 year low it feels. Picked up some amazing deals on supplies since the "Holiday" season started.
Worked up my 1st loads: XTP 124gr. What a soft shooting bullet. Really impressed. Need to run them through a chrono still.
Thanks
Mike

Hi all. Shooter from NJ here. Loading most popular pistol as well as 233 and 308 on Dillon 650. I am what you would call bulk reloader. Looking to get in to a precision reloading.

Hey everybody! Shooter/reloader/hoarder from VA checking in. I'm new to the site but have been loading my own ammo for almost 30 years...man I'm getting old! Anyway I've been reading a lot of good information here and am looking forward to learning from y'all's experience.

Hello all , been reloading for about 10 years for various stuff , mostly hunting/varmint calibers. Just looking to learn a little from an experienced group.

Evening everyone. I shouldve done this first but was trying to deal with another problem so I posted elsewhere first. Grew up plinking with my dad and grandfather, and over time, got our of target shooting. Bumped into a college buddy I hadn't seen in over 20 years and he infected me so now I'm off the deep end. Joined a local club and started shooting with the seasoned guys and now I'm going down the reloading rabbit hole. Trying to learn a lot about both guns and ammo in a short time so bear with my stupid questions.

Also started hunting (same buddy) maybe 3 years ago. Been wanting to do it all my life but kept getting side tracked. Also got into archery and took my first deer ever (8 point), first shot of first archery season.

Live just outside Buffalo NY (yes, asshole Andrew Cuomo land) where most everything is viewed as dangerous and the politicians are doing their best to disarm the law abiding citizens. I'll do my best to keep my opinions to myself and limit the idiot questions to a minimum. Hope to learn a lot here.

Hello All,

Have been reloading a few years for 223, 243, 308, 300 WSM, and now 6mm Grendel. For the most part I am a hunter. I do compete using 22 LR. Mostly need help with 6mm Gr loads for a bolt gun I am having built. Any data is greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Hello! Just getting into hunting, shooting and reloading at 48. Waited too long and playing catch up with my younger hunting buddies. Shooting a Tikka T3X Stainless Lite 30-06. Already have some questions so I'll start something in that forum and take my 1st beating from all the guys who know what they are doing.

Hi, my name is Steven and I am an addict... Thanks to y'all for getting another one hooked on shooting sports. Spending way too much money and time learning these dark arts, but it will certainly continue.
Started my foray into F-Class last season with factory Savage rifles and was able to squeak out a Sharpshooter ranking. I have fabri-cobbled my first rifle build and with the new season fast approaching I am gonna steal ideas glean info from these forums for any and every advantage I can possibly find...

Howdy y'all, David from Ft. Worth Texas, I have been reloading for nearly 20 years. I currently have 8 calibers I load for, .223, 22-250, 6br & 6mm rem, 25-06, .308win, 300wm and the .338 edge. Mostly target and hunting but I have had the long range target bug for many years, mainly 1000yds. with several forays out to 1 mile.

Hi, My name is Jess and I am from Albany Oregon. New to reloading and want to learn and start making very accurate ammo. I mostly will be doing hunting loads, I have a Tikka in .22-250, Model 70 in .270WSM, and a Model 88 in .308 Win. Also want to learn to shoot better which will be a lifelong learning.

Hi guys long time lurker..
finally might have time to start reloading, read and watched more than enough on youtube etc.
with that im a hands on type of person, and a little ocd like most of you guys lol

i am wondering if there are classes that teach realoading.
not just the common stuff, but reloading for benchrest/fclass accuracy.

im in NY but would have no problem traveling.

if im going to learn id like to learn the most and pare down from there if i dont see the need, rather than learn the basics and fiddle until i get it.

Hi everyone. Been lurking for a while. Fairly new reloader from Virginia. I load .308 for precision and 6.5 Grendel/.45/9mm for plinking and self defense.

Using a RCBS and Hornady Lock-n-Load for now. Considering the Forrester Co-Ax

Hello, been lurking a while now and decided to join. Been reloading for about 8 years or so. I currently reload for .380, 9mm, .45 auto .243, .270 and 7mm magnum. Looking at getting a .38/.357 soon so that will be next. Thanks for having me aboard.

Hello all, Vietnam Vet retired from the US Army Corps of Engineers, lock and dam on the Ohio R. Reloaded back in the 70's for a 22-250, but quit when the ground hog hunting around here went downhill. The last few years I've been reloading for a 6.5 Creedmoor bolt rifle and several AR's, all 5.56 but one problem child 6.5 Grendel. I don't shoot competitively but do spend a considerable time at the range working at accuracy along with just banging steel cause it's fun. The more I learn about reloading makes me want to know more so what better place to pick up knowledge than here.

Hello
Robert from Georgia here. Used this site for a long time but never joined. Its been my preference along with the main website. Long time reloader but now wanting to get everything possible from my 6.5. 30-06 for deer, I know it’s a bit much for Georgia whitetails but Ive had the gun since I was 16, 40 years, kind of gotten use to it. 22-250s for my yearly prairie dog trip, and recently Georgia hogs, all winter reloading for 10 days of pdog mayhem. I’d like to think I was doing the ranchers a favor, they sure are nice people. Anyway, I’m in and thinking of making my first post (thread?) ever, kind of exciting. Finally found that little blue button, bottom right corner.

Hello, new to the forum but old hand at loading/reloading, have been in the game for about 35 years. Started with a second hand RCBS reloader special, loading hunting rounds for a .270, I have expanded my shooting and reloading over the years to include more factory and custom rifles and pistols than I could haul in a wheelbarrow at one time, all kinds of presses, dies, and other gizmos. I am a gadget guy, I love to tinker and make things work, that's one reason I was drawn to handloading, also the satisfaction of doing something for yourself.
I know I still have much to learn about handloading, that's why I'm here, and I hope I have some to give back to the forum community.

Thanks for having me.

New to the site but I have been enjoying the vast knowledge for a long time. Maybe one day I will be able to provide knowledge here. I am a hunting fanatic and have recently decided to get into long range shooting. I really appreciate the knowledge all of you experts are willing to share.
