Western Powder....

I just bought their "hard bound" copy and I must say it's printed on some really nice heavy glossy paper, heavy book. I really like their powders but they are so hard to get locally and I hate to pay hazmat just wanting to try one or the other, really wanting to try their Norma rifle powders.

They have a very nice hard copy for like $2.99 for sure... I load TAC in .233 so I keep a copy on my tablet... Some of their loads are pretty hot though...

Very true. By the time I got fairly close to "max" with 2015BR, Data 2200 and 2700 I was seeing flattened primers. Excellent powders and I use them quite a bit with very good results, but be very careful working up loads. Of course we all should anyway!

I started using TAC in .223 in ARs because at the time there was nothing available due to the great shortage.... I was just loading markms load of 24.5 gr.. I have bumped it to 25gr but never gotten any higher.... Westerns max load for 5.56 is getting up there... Should probably only be loaded in new brass....

I’ve pushed tac to the limits in 5.56 loads based on their data. Incredible speeds from a 16” barrel but as with a lot of cartridges the accuracy node was much lower.
