6 Lapua Dasher brass to 6BRA?

There's a lot of reasons why it won't work and I don't think it would be safe to try it either. Mainly because you've already stretched the case 80 thou and gave it a 40 degree shoulder which won't push back and if you do get it back where's all the extra brass going to go?

Still waiting on my JGS reamer. Just weighing what options i might have. Thanks for input. Will be shooting the BRA out of Lift Twitst 7.75-7.0 Gain Twist Bartleins.

A guy I shoot with made 6BRA out of fireformed Lapua 6Dasher brass. The shoulders had radial wrinkles all the way around. He loaded and fired the stuff to see if the wrinkles would straighten out. They got better, but did not go away. Shot accurately, none-the-less.

Not if you anneal and step the shoulder back an down in slow steps
The problem is not many have died that short
Then you have to expand the necks an turn them .
Pain but it can be done

Kinda like having a kid with your cousin. Can it be done? I guess. Should it be done? Probably not. Will the results be stellar? Doubt it. Will it be worth all the trouble in the end? Definitely not.

If you pay attention, Lapua BR brass can be bought for $85/100, it will last well past 15 reloads even if you beat the hell out of it. I just love what this forum has become.
