It's that time of year. Let's see those kills.

Exactly why I bowhunt.
Up close n personal.
My farthest kill with bow was 50 yards.
This year as most years was half that.
25 to 30.
Arrowed a bear at 12 yards, now that'll make your O ring tight up!

Immike, that buck is big as hell I'd have to shoot a buck and a doe to get that dressed weight. Our blacktail are small

I tell all my bow hunting friends that it only exists for those who are easily scared by recoil! ;):D

I am not a bow hunter btw. I would also piss myself if I was 12 yards from a bear.

Awesome buck, what kinda shotgun rig?

I don’t have any details on this one guys, picture was relayed to me by my next door neighbor hunting up there. Opening weekend in Iowa is a frenzy and party both, they drive deer and socialize. Beer and food is normal Iowa hunting for the locals

Beer drinking and partying after the hunt sounds like a great time, I'll have to give that a try some time.

I went along once, it’s a blast with a large group! I did learn that you have to drive them into the wind or they go around the drivers.

Here’s another pic sent, killed by windy ridge outfitters. 168” with 23” spread.
Neighbor said that the bigger deer are holding up and kills are few for the stand hunters.
