2019 Camp Atterbury schedule

Is the June 15th and 16th match the 4 man team 1000 yd match that was posted in the competition forum a couple months ago? Also is the firing line grass, rock, or cinder? Will there be a Friday practice or informal match? I would also like to know who to contact for base housing and if it would be available for the practice match. Also are we able to eat at the mess hall like Camp Perry? Thanks,
Steve Zagrodnik

Steve,
The June match is our LR individual regional, as far as I know the team match that you are talking about does not have a date set yet. The berms are grass. In regards to lodging, if you go on our website, there is a tab at the top marked lodging, that will get you everything you need to know. The last 3 years we have not ran a practice or informal match as we have to reserve the ranges as this is still an active military base. Yes, you can eat at the all ranks club on base plus there are plenty of restaurants within a 5-10 min drive from base. Hope to see you out there!

Re: the Mid-Range matches (3/5/6/6/6, as shown). Do we shoot a 3/5/6 agg, and then shoot another 3 more matches at 600 to create another agg; or is this basically a single 1000 point match?

This was created to satisfy 2 schools of interest. Some guys don't like to move they can shoot the 3x600. Others will shoot the standard 3,5,6. It is my understanding they will be 2 separate aggs. Logistically I'm not sure if the 3x600 guys jump in with the 600 of the 3,5,6 or if it's after the completion of the 3,5,6. It's our first year of trying it and I'm guessing Shawn has an idea of how he plans to do it.

From what I understand, it will be the 3x600 guys will show up and shoot their first string at 600 as the 3/5/6 guys shoot their first string at 600. Allows for both groups to get a 60 shot agg or a 100 count if they want to shoot both
