Stainless Steel Tumbling Media

Well I usually don't buy myself Christmas presents but, I haven't been all that bad this year. I was wondering if using the stainless steel media and tumbler is worth the cost? I really hate cleaning primer pockets out. If you have experience with it, please let me know good or bad.

If you wet tumble or sonic clean try some Brass Juice and you will not need the SS pins. I use 2 ounces to 1 gallon of distilled water. https://www.thereloadingstation.com/products/brass-juice-case-wash

My experience with Stainless cleaning media. Butch Lambert sent me ten thousand 40 S&W processed and cleaned brass. After loading approximately 1000 pieces of brass my primer de-capping pin broke. After repairing it, I looked in the spent primer reservoir and found it had approximately a teaspoon of the stainless cleaning media in it. If you are going to use the stainless media, clean out the brass with compressed air before you begin loading it.

And if you get into using SS media, make sure you don't use it "every time".
It WILL wear your brass and peen necks. Watch for the "gold dust" in the wash water. And be ready to lube the necks. The SS media will get your brass TOO CLEAN. Clean maybe every third or fourth cleaning. Won't take long to get it "figured out".

I have never tumbled before. I have a ultra sonic i dont even use on my fclass brass, i just wipe the outsides and brush in the neck. If i was to start tumbling which of these tumblers do i go with for ss pin wet tumbling?

Gotta use the rotary tumbler on top. Model B thumlers tumbler is what i have
