Nightforce Competition 42x44

This will be what I consider my first high end scope. If I can find one used in like new condition, what do you guys think is a fair price for one? If new, who has the best prices out there?

From what I hear, that scope is not being discontinued even though Europtic says otherwise. Of course, my information is second hand. I’d like to hear from NF on this. That is a good price Europtic is offering.

For used, I’ve seen them here for about $1250 give or take.

Hey Todd. All he said was that it was being discontinued and that they would still be making the 15-55. That's it. From what I heard prior to them releasing the 42, Tony Boyer was putting in input and from what I heard it was suppose to be a 50X and when it came out as a 42X, he was not too happy. Like I said this is what I heard. Don't know if it was true or not.

I had 2 of them, sold 1. It has better optics than my 48 Highmaster but 6x more power makes a big difference with my eyesight at 2 & 300 yards.

What a shame, I just finally got a used one a few months back....that’s Murphy’s Law for sure.

We just got down below 30 F the last couple of nights, can’t believe you have weather like that for what, like 320+ days a year up there?

Please Todd keep that quiet. Took me 5&1/2 hours to snowblow my driveway and part of my road that normally takes me 3 hours. Only 12" but it was wet and heavy. I felt like I got run over by a bus after I got done. I'm not a young man anymore. Starting to feel my age. Getting old bites the big one.
