Arizona State Long Range Results, any information?

I am sure sling shooters can find some gear for you to use. I have seen Warren Dean and Dan Bramley in a sling jacket. Ask them how easy the sling target is.

The F target is a tough target but try the larger sling target with a jacket, elbow, sling and aperture sights and we are all square. You have to tip your hat to all three classes.

This morning Oliver converted his 600 42 X to an F target score and it was still a great score. Things you do when waiting on a wind delay.

nope. can't see the iron sights. Have you done any F class shooting?

You might want to give it a try before you decide on the difficulty level. You can shoot sling with a scope in plenty of matches, so no worries about the iron sights.

I shot an f-class regional this summer. Got an expert card.

That's funny stuff!! Better keep practicing. ;)

I know, plenty of room for improvement. I’ll give it another try next summer if the schedule allows.

I hope you do. If you do a little shooting in January and February you just might move up a class next summer. Good luck to ya.

Thanks. Luckily, I do have some shooting planned for the winter, so maybe I’ll see some improvement. See you next year!

At mid-range, I am better slung up with a scope on an AR than I am with irons. I'm stuck at EX level scores. At least I'm good enough to call every bad shot accurately, lol. I just don't know how to get better with those damn irons. Too many f-ing variables.

Yeah, it’s a different set of skills. The sights present challenges for a lot of people, but the holding still part isn’t always easy, either.

That was the one.
That was an awesome display that day Eric. Guys ,Eric shows up Sunday at the Midwest f class midrange championships with his Palma rifle and shot 190s I believe all day. Has the best waterline I’ve seen. Makes me think about building a .308 open gun. Always fun to shoot with the sling shooters. Always amazed at how steady that muzzle just hangs out there.
