AR Stoner upper question

Good morning gang, I just bought an AR Stoner upper at Midway. When I went to install it on my Colt SP 1 lower the front pin wouldn`t go thru. After checking it out I found the take down pin for the upper is .248 and the pin assembly for the Colt is .300. On the Colt, they use a internally threaded bolt and a threaded screw to secure the front upper to lower.Anyone know of a fix for this outside of buying a lower. Thanks in advance. Jeff

I think you need an adapter pin. Older Colts used a different lower between the M16 and AR15 versions. A quick search on google yeilds several. Here's the first in my search (no affiliation)

BTW, how is the quality of the Midway kit? I'm thinking of buying one.
Thanks Gene. The upper looks good.I would buy it again if I need another.I wanted to get this upper and use it with a CMMC .22lr conversion.I will keep looking. The site you offered is out of stock.I will call them later to see when they will have them. Thanks again, Jeff
