Tennessee LR F-Class State Championship

Well Skip I have to say at the Sierra Cup this year on the last day, the way you and Plunkett were inner twined in those tight spaces between the benches trying to shoot. I could have swore I heard a whole symphony of banjos playing:)
Hahaha, yeah I got to know Mike better than I ever thought I would.

The story behind why that nice trophy of a eagle is called a chicken now. Ok Jeff t. And Dale c. Always rode to the match here and Jeff t. Won a few and always put it on the dash bragging according to Dale. So Dale tells Jeff to get that f- -king chicken off the dash. Deemed chicken ever since. Maybe Dale will tell the story at the match.

Brian took it home again this year in some relatively tough conditions A lot of tight matches. Got a pretty good chicken farm at this point.

I'm sure John or Tim will post official results tomorrow~ish.

Big thanks to the MSM crew for running the match and John Huskey for roasting in the pits this weekend. A special thanks to Thomas for the coaching with irons. I sure need it.

MSM and Fellow Shooters

Another successful Tennessee F-Class State Championship is on the books. The weather gods cooperated and allowed us to get two full days of shooting completed. Though Saturday afternoon it did show us who was boss by causing an hour delay and getting all our equipment soaked. The good news is we found out our equipment doesn't melt in the rain, ;) I would like to thank all the people, who ensured this match is on the books again.
Thomas Colyer and Jim Sokolowski for running the firing line and getting the awards in line. Jack Dickson and Tom Parrish for the range safety duties. John Huskey who took time from his busy schedule and ran the pits and cooked. And last but not least all the shooters who manned the radios on the firing line. With out this help, myself and John would not be able to get these matches done. So to all these folks a special thanks from me.

Now to the results.

Not sure exactly what Brian was doing but he was spotted several times chillaxin 'in crocks, face down in his rifle. Whatever sweet nothings he was whispering must have worked...

Dale tried Brian's relaxation techniques but couldn't pull it off. Here is Jeff encouraging Dale by saying he's #1.
