Just a reminder - I will have some Caddies this weekend at Atterbury!

Just $70 in person for the standard Caddies as shown, $75 for 300 WSM (one left now - - more soon)

Alex, Any chance of a special order for 22 LR?
Kurt -

You are in luck - maybe . . . I have one 22LR 60-Round Caddie with Timer, ready to ship.
I made several of these Caddies as special order for Free Pistol (ISSF / Olympics) shooters. They shoot 60 rounds in two hours; hence the special timers, which are the Timers I use now for all the Caddies.
The price is $95 shipped USPS Priority ($85 in person).

I have also made 35-Round Caddies, using the former Timer, which timers are longer available. I can make a similar Caddie with the new Timer, and its price would be $65 shipped USPS Priority.
The only issue is the timing; I would not be able to work on this until mid-October.

This is the 35-Round Caddie with the no-longer available Timer, but I can design a new similar Caddie with the new Timer (as for the 60-round Caddie).

Please let me know what you would like.
Thanks!

Thanks Alex, I'll take one of the sixty round versions. I'll PM you.

Kurt,

I shipped your Caddie, and its expected delivery is Saturday 18 Aug.

(Two-day delivery - As good as Amazon Prime!)

Thank you -

Alex

Put two more on the September delivery list. my wife wants to get me two for my B-day, which isn't until the end of September.

one for 6BR/Dasher, and the other in 6.5-284/308 Win.

Please make them for bullet down depth. If I ever want to tell the world how absent minded I was once at an HBR match, going into the last 5-shot target; I will simply say placing 308 rounds nose down saved me. Somehow, I had missed depriming a fired case and reloaded it. Luckily a spent primer sticks out like a sore thumb in a reloading tray.

All the Ammo Caddies I make will hold the cartridges bullet up or down. The holes are counter-bored to accept the cases, and through holes under the counterbores allow the bullets to protrude through.

I used to stage the cartridges bullet up myself, and the spent cases with the primers up. But after a while I decided that it was easier for me to stage the rounds bullet down and pick them up to load them in the rifle.

At matches I have been where shooters use my Ammo Caddies, I would guess that it is half-and-half as far as using them bullet up or bullet down. It's just a question of personal preference.

Thx!
Alex

PS. Would you like one? :)

Alex,

:) Two weeks my friend. I did tell my wife. I was scared I might get aftershave or socks...
Kurt,
The two Ammo Caddies shown at top are the same - they can handle the 6mm - 30BR - 308-284.

I used to make two separate models - one dedicated for 6mm-30BR, etc. and the other for 308-284... but I always was out of the one that was in demand, and shooters had to wait for the 'next' batch. So I decided to make one model for both: the counterbores and through holes are the same; based on the 308. It was the depth of the counterbore that used to be different. The 6mm family counterbore was 3/4" deep, and the 308 family counterbore 1" deep. Now they all are 7/8" deep, and work well for all.

That having been said, I will gladly make two dedicated Ammo Caddies for you - one for 6mm and the other for 308, but they will not be ready for about three to four weeks.

Alex

that is even better. Custom, one of a kind ammo caddies for my 69th B-day September 24th.

I appreciate this, and so does my lovely wife once I showed her.

Alex where canI get new timers? My timers after 2 years of abuse and a few new batteries have decided not to work any longer.
