I saw this powder measure and brass trimmer at an estate sale this weekend. No name on them, any idea who made them and how old they are? I thought about picking them up as mantel pieces but I already have enough "stuff".

That's an old Bonanza powder measure It was later sold as the Forster Benchrest Powder Measure and painted red. It looks like it's been discontinued.

Yeah it seemed odd, they had it labeled "brass trimmer" but I couldn't figure out how it would work.
