Two techniques mentioned above have worked very well for me. Just throwing the brass in a tumbler for 30 min or so (clean corn cob) or doing a quick rinse in hot water with Dawn dish soap. Fill bottom of sink with hot tap water and dash of dawn. Toss in the cases...walk to the linen closet and get a wash cloth and by the time you get back, rub lightly and rinse with hot water.
I used a double boiler to melt the lanolin and heat the alcohol. Very important to keep away from any flame.
Your local Value Village or Goodwill store will likely have an old 9x13 cake pan. They work PERFECT for holding your brass, spritzing and waiting for the alcohol to evaporate. With a lot of cases...and a little practice...you can shake the pan a few times and the cases will stand up for you to easily remove for sizing. Pan also cleans up nicely in the sink after you have done your brass....if that is your method of removing the lube.
Dont know much about the Heet or Mobile 1 tricks mentioned above. I will have to look into them. I size a lot of brass. I am always looking to better my best practices.
