I don't need a setup to form it, I can get it factory formed. It appears to be based off of 9.3x62 brass. Can you score a set up to form it? The web on 06 brass is stretched alot taking up the .008 difference in a 9.3 chamber. I would bet a steak dinner the 6-06AI is indistinguishable at any task
RL26 is pixie dust with heavies in 243. Worth a look in the bigger case.I

Will be nice cause it needs no fire form, I do wish it had a sharper shoulder and slightly longer neck, but I think it will be fun.
I have one on a Rem 700 long action. Re 25 is the best powder I found.
75's should get 3800-3850fps and 87's should be around 3750-3800fps with a 26" barrel. I use Bertram brass.
Thanks steve,
I will also be using bertram brass as I am importing Bruce's brass to the u.s. now. Am looking forward to this round.
PM sent very much appreciated.I can give you my loads if you like?
My rifle has a very short throat, I think it could run faster seating the bullets out.
Thats some serious rpm on the bullet. My 7 twist 243 has a real problem with bullets coming apart.Got a test barrel in rock creek 7 twist, will try the 115 dtac, will get another for the lighter bullets in future
I may be able to get some 120 or 125 grain 6mm bullets to try as well. I do run the dtac out of a 7.5 twist now so I would hope it holds up, but time will tell. It was either a 7 twist or 9. I may have to get the 9 as well.Thats some serious rpm on the bullet. My 7 twist 243 has a real problem with bullets coming apart.
