Forster co-ax unavailable

My Forster co-ax has been on back order since late April . Creedmoor sports WAS expected to receive a shipment on June 15 . Now I've been informed that they expect a shipment in October . Does anyone know of any in stock anywhere else? I haven't seen any in stock anywhere in a while now . I'm on multiple "alert me when in stock list" . What's going on?

Can't explain it, but I feel your pain. After hunting for months, I ended up putting myself on the "Notify me" list at Creedmoor, Midway, Brownell's, and a few others, realizing that I wasn't going to get one "on sale." When Brownell's notified me a couple of months ago, I jumped on it. I am curious about the backlog, too.

When I bought my Forster from Brownells several years ago I was on the waiting list for more than 7 months. By the time Brownells notified me I had forgotten all about it. I wonder why there are not any available in stock as I always here about the other presses that people use and seldom about the Forster.

My guess is they are distributing in other countries now . Once those are filled them they will fill USA orders. Only other guess would be that they are retooling or a problem with a part in their supply chain. I came very close to buying the Mec Marksmen this morning from brownells.

You'll love the Co-Ax. I switched 95% of my dies to be used with this press. So much easier in every way. Just wish I would have bought it years ago.

Consider getting the short handle if you're not doing heavy calibers.

Also seriously consider getting the jaw holder upgrade from Manzgear@gmail.com (watch his You Tube presentation). This shell plate captures the jaw springs so they don't fly across the room when switching the jaws over. The jaw spring tension is adjustable too. Craftsmanship is excellent.

Have fun.
