6BR, 105 hybrids and 4166

Anyone using 4166 with 105 hybrids in a straight BR? Looking to hear what speeds you’re getting. Please include barrel length! I’ll be running a 26”

Haven’t chosen my powder yet, so anything is really an option. Temp stability is most important, with second being velocity. I would like around 2900 out of my 26” BR with 105 hybrids. I know of one person I’ve spoke to using 30.0gr of 4166 and achieving just that. But was hoping for more samples.

I tried it. 30" Bartlein 5R. 30 grains ~ 2,912. Couldn't get it to shoot as good as Varget.

2900 out of a 26" barrel with 105 gn bullets is going to be be quite a a hot load. i have a 30" Bartlein 5R, 1 in 8 twist, and 2870 is about as comfortable a load i can do. that's at sea level
