THE MOST HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE

You got me thinking man. I'm close to retirement and dreading the thought of moving. I already bought a house in another state and there's not gonna have enough room for my stuff to fit in that house. I told the wifey, I ain't moving in that house. No room for all my stuff. The house is brand new and has 3 bedroom but has a two car garage. I can dedicate one bedroom for my stuff but I don't think it's enough. i can't store shit in the garage because it so hot during summer. Besides, I need to park two car inside anyway because the association won't allow parking outside. I probably gonna end up selling that house and find another that will be big enough for all my shit.

Here you go. Maybe if your wife is on board something like this by a window in your RV. You can even put a door over is to lock it up so your kids don’t get to it.

I can tell you will never be happy anywhere anyone can tell you not to park your car where you dang well please. Good call.

Yea i have done it a few times in my life and i am sure i will again. I keep all my stuff in a box i use a portable press and i clamp it to the kitchen table and set up and load. Yes just like you would at a BR match. when I'm done i put everything back in the box. But yea i have stuff scattered around in boxes, shelves, on the floor. But hey I'm ready to go if i have to. I think for most of us a steady job where you get a job and work there for the rest of your life and retire are things of days gone by. Actually all i ever wanted was to get a good job and raise a family have a nice home and retire there. But life has its twist and turns.

and thinking about this 36x72 building we are putting on the market, packing it up,taking down shelves, spackling and cover paint,,store till new ones built,,damn,,

and you got me thinkin--i need to get the AC hooked up in my shop- im planning on using the place as long as im alive- been moving all my life since i was a kid and enough is enough

I can't imagine. Just the prego wife and switching jobs is enough stress, add the fact your changing life styles and moving. Good luck!!!!

We moved two weeks ago. I'm feeling the need to go shoot but things are still a disaster regarding my loading stuff. I think I counted, 27 boxes o_O, I've just started to unpack the reloading room this week after work. I've got a new bench to build and haven't touched a rifle besides moving from one house to another in almost a month.

Good luck and congrats on the kid...I hope the new life suits you well.

Baby and Wife first then all else doesn't really matter truely in the grand scheme of life.
Congrats to you and your wife on the upcoming addition to the family. :)

Bins under bench hold lots of primers powder and bullets. I removed 2 fold down bunks and inserted a 6’ loading bench. Last year we traveled for about 4 months in it but could easily be full time 37’10” long toy hauler with front load garage.

that is nice-

I feel your pain, man. After having to give away all my primers and powder in 2009 (remember that election thing?) before a move, and then taking YEARS to build it back up again. There were, literally, several years when there was nothing to be had on the store shelves. At least this time I moved when there wasn't a panic on powder and primers. But packing up all the reloading gear, tools, brass, bullets, etc, etc - a nightmare. Slowly rebuilding my reloading bench, shelves and storage. Moving makes you appreciate shooting fewer calibers and guns...until I put them in the safe and start thinking about new purchases...
