Has anyone tried Leihi CNC machines target slugs? I ordered 2 boxes to ser How well they will do in my 6.5x55. These are made of solid rod materials such as brass or copper. The ballistics on them seem good.

Not those. If you check the web site they make very nice target slugs. Their web site though lo eaves something to be desired. They were hard to find on it.Are you're talking about the Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos 95 grainers ?
What are you using them for ?
I think they were 36 a box for 100. some of the items are 50 per box. these wee 100. I grabbed 2 boxes. as soon as my new powder dispenser arrives I'll start reloading them into some new Lapua brass.Good looking bullet. How much a box?
Sixth row down are the .264 Match solids. https://www.lehighdefense.com/collections/bulletsI think they were 36 a box for 100. some of the items are 50 per box. these wee 100. I grabbed 2 boxes. as soon as my new powder dispenser arrives I'll start reloading them into some new Lapua brass.
Use in any 6.5, but advertised for cm only. I'm going to use them in my 6.5x55 even if I have to stuff them one at a time instead of using my magazine. But they may feed from my mag to as it feeds 270 and 30-06.They are advertised for 6.5 cm only.
Does this mean we can't use them in other .264 rounds?
I was thinking of wife's 260 rem.
Dude seriously???They are advertised for 6.5 cm only.

Can you give us a ogive to tip measurement? I don't see why they want they to be creed only bullets...Use in any 6.5, but advertised for cm only. Tip to ogive I measure at 0.7645.Can you give us a ogive to tip measurement? I don't see why they want they to be creed only bullets...
Thank you. Sounds like a winner for a mag fed 260 too. I wonder their reasoning in stating for the Creed only. Seems to be limiting their potential salesTip to ogive I measure at 0.7645.
Both Berger and Cutting Edge run about the same in their 140 grain bench test. And the Lehigh is only 1.4205 long, Berger 1.5085, and Cutting Edge is 1.5090 .
Geno, tommorow I'm going to give them a call. Talk to them about that and some other things. The web site is terrible if your trying to look for benchrest projectiles. That and I think they need to off some more different weights to like 130, 140 and so. I wonder what they would weigh in at cnc out of brass or bronze.Thank you. The 121ish is the same weight as the flatline solids too. That leads me to assume it has to do with the standard 1-8 twist rate. Let us know what they have to say. I wouldn't mind giving these a go. 3100-3150 out of my 260ai might be pretty sweet for steel shootsGeno, tommorow I'm going to give them a call. Talk to them about that and some other things. My GUESS is that if they are loaded in a Grendel, they might not open correctly.Thank you. Sounds like a winner for a mag fed 260 too. I wonder their reasoning in stating for the Creed only. Seems to be limiting their potential sales
They are a closed tip solid. They're not supposed to open up. Speed rating on their website is 1500-4200fpsMy GUESS is that if they are loaded in a Grendel, they might not open correctly.
