Help with front rest

Is there a balance ratio between the front rest and the rear rest that I should try to achieve?

There is a story in the bulletin section titled, Optimize your stock position on rest. It is worth reading. I remember one from years back that showed pictures. It can vary on the style of your stock. I've also heard of shooters using 60-65 percent of rifle weight on the front bag.
