Good luck to the shooters in Texas USA and Victoria Australia in the next postal shoot.
The range at Eagle Park in Victoria can really turn on some hard conditions with 50 to 60km/h cross winds...you’re certainly in with a chance of teaching us Aussies a lesson.
Having said that, the first ever “60” point target in 500m Fly Shooting was shot at Eagle Park at the 2017 Fly Shoot Nationals in April last year, that’s 5 shots in the 10 ring (50 points) and center to center group size under an inch (10 points). An achievement I would never have predicted to happen at this range that can present such daunting conditions.
Cheers

Better hope Bart Sauter doesn’t turn up with his BRA..They’ll need moving backers for the Fly!!here is a pic of the target Dave is talking about .. just some inspiration for ya
cant wait to see the scores

At least at the end of this shoot I won’t have to carry your rifle and equipment to your truck for you. Taking a beating with a non braked 6br all day is enough to hurt any man
17# 22 Dasher. Very little recoil, especially when u leave your bolt at home.
You cut deep![]()
I heard a guy named Travis got 2ndMissed you yesterday. Lot of pressure shooting with your regular partner, Denny. Luckily, he won it, so I must not have messed him up too badly!
I know, when I don't win it's because that pressure...looks like it effected you just a bit tooMissed you yesterday. Lot of pressure shooting with your regular partner, Denny. Luckily, he won it, so I must not have messed him up too badly!

Congrats on your second. That's good shooting against a tough crowd.
That’s an impressive target in good conditions let alone in bad mirage..Donnel Gaines shot a fantastic target , I believe with his heavy gun.
I will try to post a picture of the target. He did this on a relay with terrible mirage. I was simply amazed.
