Spring Fishing Missouri River and Reservoirs ND

Any experience anglers or fishing guides that I could chat with regarding fishing the Missouri River? Thinking of dragging the boat along on our Spring PD hunt over Memorial Day weekend but have never fished out there. Northern limit would probably be Garrison Damn and Southern limit would be Ft Yates or so. Also considering leaving the boat behind and paying for a guide.

Sorry, No idea. The Missouri is a decent bass river.

Unless you know the river channel from Pick City south to where the river quits free flowing, I'd stay out of that stretch. A lot of guides on the big water from Beulah area to New Town. Not sure on the Lake Oahe end. Try to find a Dakota Country magazine, ads for guides, good info, they may have a Facebook page or website too.
I'm not familiar with that area, but from Fort Rice south to Fort Yates should hold good walleye numbers that are migrating south.

Agreed. Mixing gun cases and fishing rods sounds expensive.
