Looking for a Source of Presentation-Grade English Walnut Blanks

I'm about to start a new custom rifle project, and I'm looking for a one-of-a-kind presentation-grade English (French, Circassian, Turkish, etc.) stock blank. For this project, I want to go all-out on the wood, so I'm hoping to find something spectacular. In a just-completed project, I went with a very-nice English blank from Watts Walnut, but this time, I want to find a truly dazzling blank.

Can anyone point me to a gunstock wood source that might have this quality of stock blank? And does anyone have experience with the Turkish-based suppliers, operating out of Istanbul or other middle-eastern locations? In one sense, I'd rather find a US-based supplier, but perhaps some of the middle-eastern sources have a good reputation for integrity?

I have used Roger Vardy in Australia, he is as honest as it gets. His wood is top notch and well seasoned, one of the blanks I bought was over 20 years old ( he writes the cut dates on the blank). His shipping is reasonable and fast (about 9 days). I think Butch Lambert will vouch for Roger also as he has dealt with him much more than I have.

Also look at Katre Walnut another good guy to deal with.

Try to find Dunlap wood craft in Vienna, VA. I haven’t used them for 20 yrs but I sure got some nice wood from them back then. Walnut and maple. I can’t find a phone number but I have a address.

Do a Google search for Wenig. They are located in Missouri. They sell wood mostly for shotgun stocks but would be worth a look. I have purchased some very nice presentation grade wood from them. They will sell the blank wood or a 90% inletted product.

Old tree gun blanks in Utah. He has been in business a long time. In fact they supplied Roy Weatherby with a lot of stocks for his Mark V's.
