The price doesnt get me that worked up. My PRS rig is hovering around $9.3k with the can, optic, bipod, arca setup, mounts etc, and that isnt with spiffy special molded cases or factory support.

It wasn't designed to "impress" you!

go price an AI 300 win mag with optics and kit.
again i built a mk13....with dealer pricing on most parts it still cost over $6000 in PARTS

Realize that each rifle will actually be a system - rifle, scope, suppressor, bipod, magazines, repair parts, tools, cleaning equipment, etc., all packaged in a Pelican-style transport case. Frankly, $12K rifles don't bother me near as much as $1B airplanes that don't/won't/can't fly.
