Defiance bolt fluting

Looks like Defiance Machine has a new website up. Anyway I was checking out their action options, and they have a new diamond pattern as a option for their bolt fluting. Looks good to me, what do y’all think? Also a pretty decent video on there about the business and actions.

Paul does that diamond pattern have some history to it on bolts, or is it something new. Thanks Mark.

Not sure, but Bat has been doing it for a while. I think Defiance has probably had multiple requests for some different fluting options lately. I was speaking with Jim Borden last week, and he is getting requests for more fluting options as well. Spring has been a long time coming this year for many shooting enthusiasts. Let the games begin.

No, I believe you may be thinking of Stiller actions. A descent receiver from what I have read.

You're partially correct. Before Defiance was started, Glen Harrison started Phoenix Machine. This is the company that you're referring to. They would sell you a complete action, or an action without a bolt.
