I grew up there. For many years it was referred to as Skumball. In the early 70's one of the city water towers had gotten repainted. They hadn't repainted the name Sun Prairie on the tower yet. Someone climbed up one night and did it for them. It read Skumball for a long time before they got it painted back over.
