Warner tool company

The machining on these dies is top notch. The fit and finish of the inserts to die body is beyond believable. Another feature that makes it different is headspace is controlled by shims at bottom of die. It gets less expensive if you have more then one set of inserts for the body. Each set makes it cheaper. Matt

The quality is amazing; the results are impressive. Once you have the main body, all you need to do is buy and swap inserts for each cartridge (unless you are trying to size .308, .300 Win.Mag., and .338L.M., in which case you'll need 3 different main body dies).

Whidden FL die~ $150, skips die shim set - $15 vs. Warner Tool FL die for one caliber- $600.
If you can convince me it will cut my groups / score of my Whidden die produced ammo by ANY measurable amount I'll order one today. IMO a shooter would be light years ahead in the accuracy game by spending the $435 difference in practice ammo.

Craftsmanship, quality of materials, fit & finish. As is the case with the WTC rear sight, the WTC sizing die has no equal.
Eye candy does not win matches as confirmed by Speedy Gonzales's advertising quote from his long defunct website "If you can't win matches.......at least look good doing so."

I am asking aking because I am buying a rifle that I can get the die and bushings for 200 extra. sounds like its worth it.

Are you saying tbat i could get bushings for my 6.5 creed and 6.5 x47 to use in this 6mmbr die?

If you can get that sizing die for $200.00, jump on it immediately;) And yes, WTC will make the inserts to perfectly fit your fired brass.

You can always sell the die and realize a nice profit:) There is a reason you rarely see a used WTC sizing die for sale.

I`d snap that up in a heart beat.........;)

Of course, one must have the marksmanship and reloading tool skills and rifle plus ammo parts quality to see the difference between WTC and other die's resized cases.

And own the roughing and finish reamer that makes the chambers in all the barrels you use that makes fired cases the size that WTC die was made for.

JRS....$200 for a WTC die....dude...you ripped me off!:D:D:D

Regnar, jump on it IMO. Two hundred dollars is robbery. I balked at the die when I bought a reamer/brass from a member here and he said it is worth the money. I bit and I have been very satisfied. The precision of the internal/external grinding is impressive and I, having done a bit of machine work in the past, appreciate the time and quality control put in to their product.

I'm curious, and could't seem to find the answer on Warner's website so maybe someone who owns one of these dies can chime in.

Will these dies work in a standard 7/8 14 press, as the website says the press must accept 1-1/4 12 (or is this only for the magnum die?)?

Do these allow the use of neck bushings to control neck tension?
