Looking for Flavio Fare trigger adjustment instructions

I need a copy of the adjustment instructions for a Flavio Fare benchrest ultralight trigger.

Thanks!

I doubt youll find instructions unless somebody has written them. One of those “if you cant do it with that find somebody that can” type of liability release. Not a user adjustable trigger. So with the names of those screws you can follow jewells instructions and be fine but flavio will tell you to take it to a gunsmith.

Wish you were closer to me steve id adjust it for you and teach you all about how its done and wouldnt charge you a dime. Its a lot better to explain in person with a demonstration about how each screw affects the others

Thanks Dusty but I am looking for instructions.
There are no instructions that come with the FF trigger other than the diagram that Dusty provided. Like he said use the Jewell instructions if you don’t understand how the different adjustments work.

Make a video and send it to him!

Yea right! Like any ofvmy customers can attest to ill gladly show anybody anything in person. I can take the time face to face to make sure we’re on the same page. Triggers and loading advice only in person!! I think the jewell or remington instructions posted around the web will get him where he needs to be- the screws are exactly the same function

Here is the information for a Jewell trigger.

BR and HVR TRIGGERS
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES

jewl05op.png
The trigger has been adjusted for most applications when shipped. Personal preference, however, may require adjustment on one or more settings.

All adjustment screws are filled with Nylon inserts to maintain their set positions. The use of external locking compounds is not necessary.

Screw (1) sets sear engagement (in = less sear engagement).
Screw (2) sets overtravel (in = more overtravel).
Screw (3) sets pull force (in = more pull force).

Initial Adjustment Procedure:

1. Ensure that rifle is unloaded!!
2. Cock action, turn screw (1) inward until action fires. Back screw out approximately 3/4 turn.
3. Recock action, turn screw (2) out until it contacts tab (12). While applying pull on the trigger shoe, turn screw inward until action fires.
Turn screw inward another 1/4 turn.
4. Recock action and measure pull force. Turn screw (3) in for more pull force or out for less pull force. Do not exceed specifications for pull settings.
5. Operate action for your particular method of shooting and adjust as needed.

Note: Rapid firing practices may require slightly more sear engagement or pull force to prevent unwanted firing.

Cleaning: Flush after each barrel cleaning with lighter fluid. The use of lubricants is not recommended.

Great. Thanks!
This seems pretty universal & will suit the Flavio.

Have any of you encountered creep on this trigger? I just received my whisper trigger and after installing it I can’t get rid of the creep unless I set the sear engagement so low that it will slam fire.

I am having the same issue. Did you ever find a solution to this?
