Remington 700 LH SA Stainless actions- why made?

Just ordered one of these from what I can tell the last in stock source in the country (If you want one, send me a PM, and when I have mine in hand early nxt week I'll share my source, they should have 4 left presently, don't want to let the info out just in case they send me the wrong action or something and the one I want gets sold out b/c I told everyone about it, that'd be just my luck LOL).

I'm curious as to why Remington makes these though. As far as I can tell, they've never offered a left hand short action rifle in stainless, only in carbon steel (currently in the SPS guns, previously in the BDL guns). But they don't offer the carbon steel action by itself in LH SA, only stainless (in other words, the only way to get a LH SA SS is to buy the action, the only way to get LA SA CS is to buy a complete gun). They have offered the LH LA complete guns in stainless off and on though.

My only thought is they did a run of them to build up a supply for Custom Shop rifles. Only other idea is they had a gun planned and canceled it and are selling off excess inventory. I was kinda holding off to see if Rem would put a rebate on for the 700s again, and thinking I would just get a complete SPS, but also seeing how these SS actions have been selling out over the last couple weeks, and no idea if any more will be made, I figured I'd better jump.

I am a lefty. Just cause we are not the majority doesnt mean theres not a market niche to be filled. Frequently, south paw actions sell pdq when offered.

Having said that I shoot mainly RBRP actions because its more convenient prone. But my hunting rifle is a left hand long action in SS and 280.

Pretty sure that's why Savage created the LRPV Rt bolt left port for right handers. I have a mod 12 in a 223 1:9 twist that can make a 5 shot single + hole at 100 yards.
Yup, All those rifles do that. Only the L.R.P.V. make smaller one hole groups. And that's a fact I have a couple of both and those L.R.P.V. are better by quite a bit.

I have one of those LRPV's too. It gives my customs a run for the money.

You are asking why in reference to a marketing decision from a company that went under during the the biggest demand for firearms in history? There must be at least a thousand bad decisions that lead up to the bankruptcy, and you are worrying about this one? I have no idea if it is true or not but read once that Mike Walker had the fix to the trigger worked out very soon after it was found to be a problem. He could fix it for 23 cents per rifle and the board decided not to do it.

Guys, my post was from over 3 years ago. The source I had obviously doesn't have more, nor does anyone else in the country with Remingtons bankruptcy. Please don't contact me, as I have no information to share on where you can find one.
