700 SA AICS Bottom Metal & mags

I'm looking for opinions on which bottom metal to use on a 700 clone build. I have 0 experience with AICS bottom metal or mags. More than likely I will be doing a WSM or the PRC along with a standard bolt face barrel. It will be a switch barrel rifle and the bolt has interchangeable bolt heads. I understand that I will need 2 different mags and I'm not looking for a hi-cap mag, probably a 3-5 rd.

I have both Badger and PTG. Both work fine with the AICS mags. The PTG is a lot cheaper. I use them for 284 in a LA (300 WM mags) and 6.5x47L (308 mags). I borrowed my Dad's "tool" to bend the feed lips a little to get the feeding the way I wanted it.

CDI works for me. They may still do free inletting.

Curtis Customs makes a flush-fit (almost) magazine that fits AICS bottom metal. It won't feed BR cases with short bullets, but for "normal" cartridges it feeds perfectly.

I've built 5 or 6 stocks for Remington and Stiller actions. I put PT&G on every one. They work great for me. I bought a couple Magpul plastic mags to try. I'll test them as soon as I get a chance.

+1 for Hawkins. They are really nice for the money. The seekins is also a nice piece if you prefer a push button release over a lever style mag release.
