I do mid range and long range prone....yes, I have had success with Kreiger 6mm 5R barrels.

I've been thinking about the same thing, lately. I'm thinking about getting a new barrel for a Tikka and take a stab at a 6br repeater. One of my dream projects that got shelved. I vaguely remember reading somewhere that the 5r barrels weren't great performers for it. I might be wrong, but I'll be interested in the answers you get.

My 243 wears a Bartlien 5R. I've mainly ran 115 dtacs and 115 Bergers through it. It has been a consistent 1/2 moa or better in most cases barrel. I have been very happy with it. There's around 2000 rounds on it and it still holds true.

The most accurate 6mm I’ve owned wore a Krieger 5R .236 bore 1-7.5” twist.

I have a 6x47 Lapua. Using a 5r Rock Creek barrel, best 5 shot 100 yard group was .26".

My definition of success would be the where someone has tested with multiple 6mm Kreiger barrels that are the same length, same chamber, contour, etc. & also have a similar number of rounds fired thru each barrel. My real question is, how does the 5R Kreiger barrel preform vs. the other Kreiger rifleing options? If a Kreiger dealer would sell me 3 Kreiger Barrels with different rifleing in each, I will set them up, tune them and test all 3 at 500 yds. Not willing to wait until I have another birthday

Having shot out several 5 groove barrels in 243, 264, 284 and 308 the 6mm was the only bore diameter that didn't show better accuracy that a 4 groove. Not to say that the accuracy was worse, just not better.
For 264 and 284, I won't run anything else.

Running one on a 6BRAI and it's a hummer. 30" 8 twist parallel profile.

Kreiger is licensed to Make Obermeyer 5R ... Other 5R'S are Different ..

I get a lot BS when I post this . The Truth is I am Correct...

By the Way I shoot Obermeyer Style 5R's in 6.5 and 30 cal.

Love Them even if the cost a little more.

I didn't have any 6mm but had two 30 cal 1.450 for 1000 yard BR. They shot as good as any other I've had. Maybe they cleaned a little easier then a 4 groove. Matt

Ive got a 6PPC with a Kreiger barrel, no idea if it's a5R but it has shot several .0xx groups Even with a duffer like me behind the trigger. I would imagine the percentages of Kreiger owners who are dissatisfied are very, very low, I can't imagine how you could go wrong with one.
