Bullet brand/design that holds the most world's records or wins

So in the quest for the best bullet I want to know what bullets hold what records or how many championships said bullet won. I understand shooter, cartridge, and rifle all come into play but I just would like to know about the bullet.
Any know of a list out there in the world that breaks this info down?

Bench rest records are held by hand made bullets that are all made in the same die.

Mass produced bullets come out of multiple dies and even though from the same lot do vary from each other within the lot

I agree when it comes to benchrest.

YOUR QUESTION IS TOO BROAD. YOU NEED TO DEFINE WHAT TYPE OF SHOOTING.
get real specific. sierra has a bunch but typically short range, super small groups are the home of custom bullets. berger is doing well in covering lots of territory.
i shoot some sierra, some hornady, some berger and some true custom.

When you can afford to give away a shat ton of bullets to teams of sponsored shooters what can you expect......Goes the same with barrels. You can get barrels into good shooters hands through a whole lot of prize table donations......Scopes as well. Just smart business......

Regards
Rick

Based on the above, it seems like Berger might be the King. “Show me the money” on the custom bullet makers results at major 500+yd tournaments.
I agree. Short range score and group is a different story. Custom bullet makers get the nod in those two categories. It's safe to say that in SR score, there has probably been more Bib bullets shot thru the 30BR caliber than any other brand, bar none. Since Ronnie Long and Randy basically got the 30BR rolling back in 98.

In the last 7 or 8 yrs yrs no manufacturer (read non-custom) bullet maker has managed the combination of BC and consistency that Berger has, so they will have most of the records in the long range game because everyone shoots their bullets.

Only recently (last couple of yrs) has Sierra tried to compete with a 7mm bullet. The 183SMK looks like it may be a competitor though I'm not sure, you'll have to ask the guys who shoot them.

In 30 caliber Berger won the field 8 or 9 yrs ago when they released the 185 LRBT (now called the Juggernaut). It eclipsed the 175SMK and 190SMKin sort order. In the mean time they have continued to release new 30 cal bullet and no large manufacturer is even close to the BC of Berger's 200gr, 215gr and 230gr offerings.

Sierra gave it an "Ole!" wave with a new 195 TMK that was released recently but it has a lower BC than the comparable Berger bullets that were already on the market. Pretty much a non starter for most long range shooters.

The above applies to F class and I'm pretty sure it's applicable to long range BR.

I don't think anyone keeps equipment records in F class, but I'd make a large wager that most of the current records and a small one that all of the current records were shot with Berger bullets.

Here is something to keep in mind. The Berger bullets are excellent bullets, rivaling, if not the equal of, the best boutique bullets. Having said that, Sierra has come out with the .284 /183 & 197, .243 / 110 and now the .264 / 150 gr match bullets. From what I can tell, the dimensions of these are held to as tight of standards as realistically can be held, and still produce acceptable amounts of bullets for the shooting public. The jury is still out on these bullets, however, if they shoot and begin to win matches, I think they will begin to make inroads into the renowned bullet makers. If you get enough of these bullets into the hands of enough good shooters, eventually they will make their way into the winners circle too! It just takes time.. Remember, Sierra fell into complacency for many years. However, their lethargy has now been turned into innovation! Let's keep the competition amongst the bullet makers going! It can only be good for the shooting sports!

+1..........From my experience in SR BR you will never get a true answer to the OP's question because the data listed on equipment reports (which are filled out during registration) often does not reconcile with what was actually campaigned for the match tournament ......and not necessarily due to deceit- it is commonplace to change equipment before and during the match for a host of reasons in order to remain competitive.

Adding to what Jim said, there are several weight versions of Bibs -all of which are found in the "win" columns, then you have many different lots which may contain subtle changes in jacket material- and each individual barrel may "like" a certain lot while other barrels might not. Again, a question for which you will never get a finite answer.
