I and my sweetie just upgraded our savage 12f's. Bellow are the upgrades, so I'm looking for suggestions from members who may have these upgrades, or similar, and where you may have advice to a starting point that has worked for you as we get ready to do our load work ups. If you've had better results from other powders I'd love to see that info. We partisapate in 600 yard shoots, and are planing to do our load development this winter to find what to use this coming summer.
The reason for all the upgrades was to up our game this next season. The original savage barrels were giving up 2 1/2" to 4" groups till my barrel show signs of problems after 15 rounds at shoots. So we decided to just upgrade both rifles after about 1500 rounds down the barrels.
