Tuesday a pharmacist friend of mine, Chris, called and wanted to come over the to range and check out his new scope he had put on a Ruger 44 mag rifle. After setting his scope in, I set him up for a 800 yard Ole Chuckie kill shot with a Panda 6 mm Dasher. He took 3 sighters and had a nice little mickey mouse group on the large plate. I dialed the scope in and his first shot on Ole Chuckie was a head shot.

Chris is coming back Thursday to shoot his 6.8 spc

Wednesday his NF 8 x 32 MOAR T was delivered. He is waiting on a Begara LRP 6.5 Creedmore to arrive next week.

I like that Cummins sitting in the background, and the rifles.

Bird, a friend rebuilt these in Az. I saw several with 1,000,000 miles on them, which was put on the trucks pulling horses or cars back and forth cross country...they like to work hard.

No "g" in Cummins". o_O A lot of folks in this area of IN work in one of their many plants, mostly Columbus IN. I have a nephew in law who is an engineer in the stationary, gen set division. It is a major verbal beat down to inject a "g"...:( in these parts. Jes' sayin'

HA! I had to read the original post twice, apparently, my 'skim-brained' mind missed the fact you were shooting a 6 Dasher (my friend Bob shoots one) and not a .44 mag out of a Ruger.

I'm interested in how he does with the 6.8, I have two 24" AR 6.8s I use for silhouette and steel varmint matches. The farthest I really stretch mine out to is about 650y. Good little round with the right bullets!
