Minus one Coyote***UPDATE***DID IT AGAIN!

Friday evening I was deer hunting when this almost 30 pound coyote came trotting out. I held just in front of his nose as he came toward the stand and planted a 140 SST just above his right eye. At 90 yards, the SST blew brain matter about 4 feet and knocked both eyes out of the sockets. I think I've seen that look on Wiley Coyote's eyes before . I couldn't have been happier if he had been a big ten-point buck!

How are those SST's when exiting a coyote?? I have some 130's loaded for my 270 win for this season and was just wondering. Fur isn't worth anything where I'm at so Im loading for total destruction.

The SST is an explosive bullet, at least that is what I've found on deer sized animals. On this particular coyote it would be hard to judge because it was brained. No pelt damage other than the top of the head.

So, I'm on the same stand Friday morning when, thank my lucky stars, another big male coyote come strolling out. Moving across the food plot at a good pace (distance 120 yards) I gave a whistle to stop him for just long enough to plaster him with my Model 7 in 7MM08.

Speer 130 BTSP
This bullet leaves my 18" barrel at just over 2700 FPS and has never failed to get the job done.
