hornady neck turning setup?

I would go another route I had one and just didn't like it, it's built well to a point, but this was 3 yrs ago it would need some modifications to work smoothly imho

Good recommendation. I use the 21st Century Lathe turning tool which is the best I've found after trying several other, hand held turning devices that just didn't show me the consistency I expected.

And to the OP's original question, resize first and then trim of necessary. When you take brass and resize it, the process usually changes the shoulder and extends the neck further, leading to perhaps having to trim the brass. Doing this process in the reverse order accomplishes nothing.
