AMP Annealer

A might pricey, but in the scheme of things concerning repetitive results, it has removed all the doubts I harbored from previous gas units. Six months now and I haven't screwed up anything.

I would say the same..but the other day on the last piece of brass my brain told my left hand to go ahead and grab it from the shell holder yeah it was hot,at least that was the report my thumb and index finger told my brain:eek:

Please don't tell anyone, or we'll have to mark "Annealed cases are HOT" on each one ;)

I had some cases I cleaned and walked by the AMP last night after dinner and thought I should anneal them while I was thinking about it. Did 52 cases in no time and was finished. All I did was plug it in and start hitting the start button. No torches to get right or flames or changing anything. I love it.

I been thinking gonna see if I can dummy up like the lady in McDonalds did a few years back that spilled hot coffee on herself and ended up a couple million dollars richero_Oo_O

I just got mine a few weeks back and am in love. It's super easy, I can do it inside, don't have to worry about flames and just dial a number to change the settings. Can't recommend it enough.

What does the target tell you after annealing with the amp compared to not annealing or annealing with gas?

I also love mine. I anneal for 4 different calibres. And the dedicated .50 cal. machine is due out by Christmas. As is a new machine that will do everything up to and including the .50 cal..

I use a cookie sheet as a cooling table. Just don't drop a hot case on carpet. It melts pretty quick. Then you've got a mess to try and get off the case.

Im using bench source i felt so outdated.. Lol
Till someone proved that it will make my round much more accurate.. Ill keep that 700.00 diff in my pocket :)

The BenchSource is a fine unit. The difference comes in when you factor the extra time you spend setting it up for multiple different calibers and neck thicknesses. Changing heights, flame angles & dwell time ......these all take time and induce variances from lot to lot. I know.......from past experience.

Not saying you can't get excellent results from the BenchSource, just that the AMP relieved $700 worth of stress for me.
